I normally don’t cover the myriad of endorsements that have blanketed the 2008 primary schedule, but Barack Obama has picked up a pretty big backer in former Democratic Party Chair Joe Erwin. Which means, unfortunately, his campaign is steadily building on its momentum in South Carolina.
“People want to change and they want a candidate who is not so much about partisanship but about making government work better for people,” Erwin said during a press conference call, noting that he especially likes Obama’s stance on healthcare and education. “I plan to work aggressively in this campaign,” he said. I have reservations about the Obama Healthcare Plan. Can it create dehabilitating effects to my parents standard of living? Do the benefits outweigh the negative aspects?
