Red Flag alertAccording to the Associated Press, the state Forestry Commission has issued a red flag alert for all of South Carolina, which means you should not burn things outdoors — except, of course, red flags because the Democrats tell me it’s our Constitutional right to do so.

The alert is a warning that people shouldn’t burn outdoors because strong winds and low humidity are increasing fire danger. Winds across the state Tuesday are expected to reach gusts as high as 35 mph.

The alert does not mean burning is banned. But people are being asked to postpone burning until conditions improve.

Scott Hawkins of the state Foresty Commission says that this year’s wildfire season is expected to start earlier and be more intense than in years past. [AP]

You hear that? This guy wants me to “postpone burning until conditions improve.” Who the hell is the Forestry Commission to infringe on my First Amendment right to burn red flags?

I’m lodging a complaint with the ACLU. If anyone will help me fight this oppression, they will.

Does it matter which flag we burn? Because I would burn the confederate flag at the memorial in front of the statehouse so we can get bowl games and bring march madness back to South Carolina.
