Colbert to appear at College of Charleston Saturday

Colbert-Colbert

As Bill was kind enough to point out, South Carolina’s favorite son and quasi-bi-party presidential candidate Stephen Colbert will reportedly be in Charleston this weekend.

According to the No Fact Zone:

Stephen Colbert of “The Colbert Report” will be on the College of Charleston campus this Saturday, October 27, at 3 pm, on the Cistern Yard. He will be participating in MTV’s “Rock the Vote,” a non-partisan, one hour interactive presentation designed to encourage voter registration and educated voting.

This would be the first public appearance in the Palmetto State for Colbert, a South Carolina native who recently polled fifth among Democratic candidates nationwide - that’s FIFTH - at just over 2 percent. Any guesses on the number in South Carolina?

That’s all the information we have right now, but we’ll let you know what we find out.
