RomneyFacts.com

We joke a lot at The Palmetto Scoop about presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s propensity for “flip-flopping.” Well now, the Massachusetts Democratic Party has taken the issue a step further and created a “first-of-its-kind website” with a treasure trove of information on “Massachusetts Mitt” vs. “Red State Romney.” The site, RomneyFacts.com, features YouTube videos, scrolling flash boxes, a multitude of documents and a searchable database of campaign contributions spanning his entire political career.

We’ve never seen anything like this, and with so much dirt, Romney’s opposition must be drooling.

The party says it will add information to the site in the coming weeks and months.

Party officials and political specialists say they know of no other effort to consolidate such a wide range of detailed information about a single candidate. But they said it is not likely to be the last.

“It’s obviously a new application of the Internet, and it strikes me that . . . we’ll probably soon have equivalent sites for all the candidates,” said F. Christopher Arterton, dean of the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University. [LISA WANGSNESS - Boston Globe]

It’s interesting, and appalling, I might add, how “honesty” seems to be the underlying motive in putting up such a site. But would the owners of the site do the real honest thing in posting ALL of Romney’s “FACTS” including his accomplishments – Harvard education, saving the Olympics, turning around Massachusetts and many companies through Bain Capital, etc., etc., – those are FACTS TOO, aren’t they? An intelligent voter will weigh all these before making a decision. For me, Romney’s unmentioned and unlisted facts, far outweigh in importance and in their defining power of the candidate’s abilities than the Dem’s site information. No doubt that they (Dems) fear Romney more than any other Republican candidate. Romney is and will be a nightmare for them (Dems).

    MITT COSTS MONEY!
It is CRITICAL that we spread the word about the huge deficit created in Massachusetts
at the hands of Mitt Romney and how tragically our country’s economy would continue to
decline if this deceitful liar was elected .
How this man can actually convince the American People that he
has ANY track record related to fiscal responsibility is beyond me.

We must fight & speak out or our people will suffer tremendously.
    I want my country back!
