PAGING JIM REX…

We’re a little late on this, but WOW. Seriously, WOW.

We don’t even know what to say except, “this is what 50th out 50 gets us.” This is so embarrassing and gaining so much national attention that elected officials might, just might, actually follow through on rhetoric about improving education in South Carolina.

It’s painful to watch; enough so that even the most ardent status quo hawks will have trouble ignoring the state’s educational tragedy.

We feel bad for this poor girl because it’s probably not her fault that she got a bottom-of-the-barrel education. But hopefully some good will come of this.
