South African entrepreneur and media personality Bonang Matheba has revealed that podcast host Rea Gopane is still paying her the R300k defamation debt he owed her.
Rea Gopane has never really rated the House of BNG boss. He made a couple of damaging allegations against her, including that she introduced AKA to a drug habit. He also described her as delusional, among others. Miffed by the unsubstantiated allegations he made against her, she had threatened him with the courts, forcing him to do a retraction and an apology video.
But he still went ahead with his allegations against her. She sued him and won an R300k defamation suit against him. The win alarmed many netizens, who told her that she should not have come down too hard on him, seeing as he is not even worth up to R300k. But she held her ground.
