Presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is opening his bajillionth — and by “bajillionth” we mean third — campaign office in the Palmetto State. According to S.C. Politics Today, this one will be in the Upstate and will open on Obama’s 46th birthday this Saturday. Only he won’t actually be there.

But reportedly, Schools Superintendent Inez Tenenbaum and Obama national field director Temo Figueroa will attend. If that isn’t enough to get you to the new office, then the free cake should do the job. (We actually don’t know if there will be free cake, but if there is, it should probably read “This one’s for the Hillary heckler” or something similar.)

Regardless, as long as Brad Warthen doesn’t show up and get thrown into the middle of the Obama v. Hillary spat, all should be well in Greenville.
