Amapiano star DJ Maphorisa recently surprised a 15-year-old Limpopo DJ battling bone cancer with musical equipment and how to make it in the music industry.
DJ Maphorisa is the celeb everyone aspires to be. While some have called him Amapiano’s gatekeeper, some have credited him for lending a hand to the people who need it most and showing support to his colleagues.
The star was recently in the news for claims that he sleeps with his male artists to help them advance their careers. Of course, he is set to deal with the rumour-monger. While that happened, Porry recently visited a 15-year-old Limpopo DJ at a restaurant in Sandton.
A non-governmental organization, Reach For A Dream, revealed that Tebogo also has a dream of becoming a DJ. It was only fitting that he met up with one of the greatest ever to do it.
“Tebogo, a brave 15-year-old from Limpopo battling bone cancer, had one dream – to get DJ equipment so that he could make music just like his hero, DJ Maphorisa.”
The organization also revealed that Porry told him secrets about making it in the industry.
“Maphorisa also gave Tebogo some advice on how to make it in the music industry and posed for a mini photoshoot with him. Tebogo and his family will never forget this amazing day.”
