We just received the following statement via a press release from Attorney General Henry McMaster, the South Carolina Co-Chair for John McCain 2008, on tonight’s Republican presidential debate:

“Tonight John McCain demonstrated that his experience and willingness to take on the tough issues facing our country make him the candidate most prepared to lead on day one.  This evening Senator McCain tirelessly defended his solutions-above-politics approach to leadership, and it was reassuring to voters who are interested in results, not rhetoric.

American voters will demand the ability to find solutions in their next President and that’s exactly what they find in John McCain.”
