As the “pole” controversy continues to unfold, a number of conservative bloggers are beginning to call for Joe Scarborough’s head.
RedState’s Erick Erickson is asking “where’s the GOP outrage?” Said Erickson, “When will the right express outrage and demand that the wives of candidates not be smeared?” and posted MSNBC’s phone number, encouraging readers to call in.
By the way, MSNBC’s phone number is (201) 583-5000. You can reach Congressional Quarterly at (202) 419-8500.
And Howard Mortman of the widely-read blog Extreme Mortmon, in a post titled “Joe’s Gotta Go”, said, “As a former MSNBCer — as well as a former colleague of Craig Crawford at the Hotline, and yes, as another conservative blogger supporting Fred Thompson – I have to once again ask the “Don Imus” question: Does anyone at MSNBC watch its own programming? Either way, Scarborough has to follow Imus out the door.”

Just working the polls, Daddy.
Well now, this is very special.
It seems that political correctness has become both selective and disproportionate. Due to bad news all around, we must be dipping deeply into the outrage barrel to dredge up this one.
You may in good time claim the scalp of Scharborough, but what does Craig Crawford have to do with any of this controversy?
Nothing worse for Joe than leaving him where he is. How many people watch that stupid show of his?
I guess he’s just trying a bit too hard to be loved by the left.
Guess what Joe? They still hate you.
