UPDATE:Another credible source is telling us that Sullivan is BEGGING Rick Beltram, the controversial Spartanburg County GOP chair, to run against Dawson tomorrow. Now that would be quite interesting.

We reported earlier that Romney S.C. campaign manager Terry Sullivan plans to overthrow state GOP chair Katon Dawson at tomorrow’s State Convention.

We’re now hearing that Sullivan is vetting Ginny Allen, the former Aiken County Republican chair, to make the ill-fated run. Allen is reportedly a former employee of Sullivan.

Well if that is the case I hope they get use to losing because if they bring in Quinn, Beltram or anyone else for the matter, Katon will just eat their lunch. Are you going to tell me that there is ANYONE? more capable of making sure the GOP is intact the Katon… He is the heartbeat of the party, the one who can raise the cash and last but not least he can rally the troops when needed to go into battle with the democrats.

As for me and my counties delegates, We have Katon’s back!
