Gov. Mark Sanford, fresh off a series of intense conflicts with the General Assembly, is launching a letter-writing crusade to raise money for use in destroying anyone who stands in the way of achieving his ambitious agenda. For the time being, “anyone” is the state legislature.
The fundraising letter asks people to donate to Reform SC, a nonprofit run by Sanford ally and Columbia car dealer JT Gandolpho and former Sanford aide and Sticky Fingers restaurateur Chad Weldor.
Sanford says Reform SC will try to put the spotlight on which lawmakers are working with his administration and which are against the ideas he campaigned on last fall. (AP)

How is this any diferent than what other prominent politicians do? the Speaker has a PAC to support his “friends
” It only makes sense for the Governor to have a way to support friendly candidates. I suspect the funds will be used in the next election din the next election cycle.
