According to the The National Journal’s Hotline, the SCGOP has been inundated with phone calls and e-mails since Tuesday’s GOP presidential debate from overly-annoying Ron Paul supporters. The state party’s response was to give callers Paul’s mobile number and invite them to leave him a message. Classic.

The Paul callers remained unaffected and have supposedly turned their anger on Saul Anuzis, the Michigan GOP Chairman who, while in South Carolina Wednesday, said he would begin circulating a petition to ban Paul from further debates. They have “deluged” the Michigan GOP, and even repeatedly called the guy’s house.

What do these people expect, Paul will win the GOP nomination by annoying the heck out of voters? His supporters are more rabid than those of Howard Dean in 2004, yet somehow more delusional.

We expect him to win by telling people the truth. It’s that simple.

I wonder what the *content* of the messages the SCGOP were receiving was? That is, what where all these Ron Paul supporters calling to ask? I’m not one of them (that is, one of the ones who called) and the only reason I can see for contacting the SCGOP would be to ask that the SC GOP leadership not support Saul Azunis’ ridiculous campaign to remove Ron from future debates. If that’s what people were calling about, then I’d say they were totally justified to contact the SCGOP. If it was something else, then maybe not…

If the GOP wants to try and censor the democratic process by silencing a voice with a legitimate message, you had darned well better expect angry Americans to fight for freedom. The GOP and the Controlled Media have run roughshod over Americans long enough. We foolishly though the GOP was the party of the honest workingman, but it is proving to be an elitist organization who will stoop to smear it’s own people and silence dissent. The GOP is now just as morally corrupt as the Democrats.

Ron Paul wants limited government and a sane foreign policy. people conveniently forget he voted in favor of attacking Afghanistan in retaliation for 9-11, but he is warning America that adventurism and occupation can indeed have a deadly price. People ignore Ron Paul’s message at their own peril.

Apparently, National Journal is blowing smoke up out butts, because someone called the state GOP and they denied it. Either the GOP is lying or National Journal is:

    Yes, we will win.

If you don’t know about Paul yet, then start by reading the Bill of Rights. Then move on to his record as a congressman.
